The process of personal insurance claims
-
01 / Start with a thorough evaluation
Every pediatric physical therapy plan begins with a detailed evaluation at one of our centers. We look at strength, balance, posture, coordination, mobility, and how your child moves in daily routines.
From there, we create an individualized plan of care and talk with families about goals that matter most at home, school, and in the community.
-
02 / One-on-one sessions built around your child
Our center-based one-on-one approach gives your child the focused attention they need to practice skills safely and confidently. Sessions may include stretching, strengthening, gait training, balance work, and play-based movement activities.
We adjust each session to meet your child where they are and to keep progress engaging, meaningful, and measurable.
-
03 / Treat motor and mobility challenges
Physical therapy can support children with delays in gross motor skills, toe walking, low tone, high tone, weakness, poor coordination, balance concerns, orthopedic recovery, and difficulty with stairs, jumping, running, or endurance.
We also help children who need support with posture, range of motion, or functional movement skills that affect everyday participation.
-
04 / Support quality of life
PT can make daily life easier by improving mobility, independence, confidence, and comfort in movement. That can mean more participation in play, self-care, school routines, sports, and family activities.
Our goal is to help each child build skills that support a fuller, more active life.
Pediatric Physical Therapy FAQs
-
What happens during a PT session?
Sessions are one-on-one and centered on your child's goals. A therapist may use play, movement games, stretching, strengthening, or balance activities while carefully coaching your child through each task.
-
Who can benefit from physical therapy?
Children from birth to 18 years old may benefit if they have motor delays, coordination challenges, tone differences, toe walking, weakness, pain, posture concerns, or trouble with mobility and endurance.
-
How does PT support daily life?
Physical therapy can help children participate more fully in home routines, school activities, playground play, sports, and community experiences. Better movement skills can improve confidence and independence.
-
Do families get guidance too?
Yes. We partner with parents and caregivers, explain goals clearly, and share practical home strategies so progress continues between visits.
-
Is therapy only for severe concerns?
No. PT can help with many levels of need, from early developmental concerns to ongoing support after injury, surgery, or other movement-related challenges.
